ICP DAS has introduced a solution centered on the PET-AR401 Intelligent Vibration Data Acquisition and Analysis Module. Powered by a built-in PMS (Predictive Maintenance System) algorithm, the module converts vibration data into equipment health indicators, enabling users to detect early signs of anomalies before failures occur. Vibration signals are among the earliest indicators of developing issues in rotating equipment. In many cases, abnormalities can be detected weeks or even months before a failure occurs. The PET-AR401 automatically performs time-domain and frequency-domain analysis while generating a Health Index. It also provides trend forecasting and Remaining Useful Life (RUL) estimation, helping enterprises determine optimal maintenance timing.
Multi-Model Diagnostics for Faster On-Site Analysis The module supports up to 17 common mechanical fault models, including bearing faults, imbalance, and misalignment. This enables on-site personnel to quickly identify the source of equipment abnormalities even without specialized expertise. For deployment strategies, enterprises can adopt a layered implementation approach based on their operational requirements. For large-scale equipment monitoring, the iSN Series vibration sensor modules (such as the iSN-71x-MRTU, iSN-701X, and iSN-701X-mA) can first be deployed to collect real-time vibration feature and classify equipment conditions according to ISO 20816 standards, establishing a foundational monitoring mechanism. For critical equipment, the PET-AR401 or AIB-AR401 can be further deployed to perform real-time anomaly detection and remaining useful life prediction at the edge. This approach enables faster analysis while reducing dependence on cloud computing resources.
A Complete Architecture for Monitoring and AI Diagnostics ICP DAS provides a complete architecture covering sensing, data acquisition, and AI diagnostics, while supporting standard communication protocols for seamless integration with existing systems. This enables enterprises to gradually establish a comprehensive equipment health management framework.
