Description
The KUPO K-LOK 400A series is a high-current single-pole cam-type connector system designed for temporary power distribution and professional electrical applications. Rated up to 400A and 600V AC/DC, the series is cUL Listed under File No. E332947 and complies with UL 1691 and RoHS requirements, making it suitable for North American markets and projects requiring recognized UL safety certification.
K-LOK is designed for stage productions, outdoor events, film and broadcast applications, generator distribution, construction-site power and industrial equipment. It is intermateable with compatible Series 16 cam-type connectors from major manufacturers, allowing easy integration with existing cable and distribution systems.
The electrical contacts are made from high-conductivity brass, while the housing uses Santoprene thermoplastic elastomer rated up to 105°C. The material offers impact resistance, UV resistance and resistance to oil and common industrial chemicals. The housing meets UL94 HB and UL Enclosure Types 3R requirements for protection against rain, sleet and external ice formation.
The connectors feature a cam-style twist-lock mechanism with molded alignment arrows and ribbed grips for secure handling in wet or gloved conditions. Inline, M12 threaded-stud panel and double set-screw panel configurations are available, supporting conductors from #6 AWG to 4/0 AWG for generators, distribution boxes, extension cables and fixed equipment.
Nine phase-identification colors are available to distinguish L1, L2, L3, Neutral and Ground conductors. With cUL Listing, UL 1691 compliance, UL Type 3R protection and RoHS compliance, K-LOK 400A provides a safe, durable and highly compatible connection solution for temporary power, professional entertainment and industrial distribution systems.
