Founded in 2001, Tibbo was among the pioneers in developing Serial-over-IP (SoI) controller modules (also known as "device servers" or "serial-to-Ethernet converters") and related PC software. To this day, Tibbo’s SoI product line remains widely popular. The success of our SoI products laid the foundation for Tibbo to pursue even greater goals: becoming a pioneer in hardware and software solutions that simplify and accelerate the creation of IoT and automation devices. Tibbo applies its products to a wide range of industries, including smart factories, smart buildings (such as smart hotels), and environmental monitoring and control. Key offerings include the Tibbo Project System (TPS)—a modular automation platform compatible with RS485 Modbus sensors—as well as the Outdoor Sensing System (OSS), which comes with built-in sensing or can be paired with a Modbus Pod to connect external third-party Modbus sensors.
