Dexmart Launches QDD Robot Joint Sponsorship Program, Empowering Taiwan's Robot Makers & Students

TAIPEI - Taiwan's robotics development community is growing rapidly, from university lab teams running reinforcement learning, to independent developers training gaits in their dorm rooms, to student clubs building humanoid robots from the first screw up. These developers are not lacking in technical ability or passion. What they lack is hardware resources that match their ambition.

Dexmart Technology Corporation and its subsidiary Dexmart Robotics Inc. officially announce the launch of the "QDD Joint Module Half-Price Sponsorship Program," with Dexmart covering half the cost of joint modules so that developers can focus their energy and budget on what truly matters - algorithms, control strategies, and system validation.

The QDD integrated joint actuator modules offered through this program integrate motor, gearbox, drive, dual absolute encoders, and STO safety mechanisms, with native support for MIT Mode, impedance control, and ROS 2 Node. The entire series is designed and manufactured in Taiwan. Approved applicants can be matched with the appropriate module specifications based on their torque and size requirements, and will simultaneously receive technical documentation, 3D models, SDK examples, and engineering consultation resources, enabling integration development to begin from the day the modules arrive.

Sponsorship is open to individual makers, university and graduate research labs, student clubs and competition teams, and senior high school and vocational school teaching units. There are no restrictions on department or year level. Projects that are currently underway or about to launch are both eligible to apply. The review focuses on whether applicants clearly know what they want to build, how they plan to make the robot actually move, and whether they are willing to share their results back to the community upon completion.

How to apply: Fill out the online questionnaire (approximately 5–10 minutes), describe your project and intended use of the joint modules. Once approved, you can acquire the modules at the sponsored price and begin development.
